Neemuch : Thieves again broke into Jain temple, situated in Jamuniyakala village on Saturday night and took away umbrella of the idol, cash and coins from the donation box. This was the second time when thieves targeted this Jain temple.

As per the information received, thieves firstly damaged the camera installed in the temple premises and then entered in the storerooms by breaking the locks; they ransacked the rooms and then decamped with the booty. They have stolen around coins and cash Rs 15,000-20,000.

Additional police superintendent Pankaj Pandey and station in-charge of Neemuch city Shivkumar Yadav reached at the temple along with their police force and inspected the temple thoroughly. During this, teams of dog squad and finger print experts were also there.

It may noted that, in this Jain temple situated in Jamuniyakala, the similar theft incident had occurred around one and half year ago, but police remained unable to catch the thieves. This has raised so many questions on the efficiency of the police force. However, police assured that they would find the thieves as soon as possible.
