BHOPAL: Unidentified burglars sneaked into a locked apartment in posh E-7 Arera Colony locality within the limits of Habibganj police station in broad daylight on Monday morning between 9 am to 12 pm and escaped with booty worth more than Rs 1 lakh. According to Habibganj Police, Ranjeeta Verma, 35, wife of Aditya Tripathi, resident of Parks Villa, Shahpura in her complaint to the Habibganj police stated that her father lives at E-7/91 Flat number 1 in Saidev Apartment. She is a manager in Punjab National Bank. Her father had gone to her sisters’ house in Mumbai a month ago for medical treatment. On Monday afternoon she got a call from his father’s neighbour that some unidentified thieves had sneaked into his house from the window of bathroom between 9 am to 12 pm. She immediately rushed to the spot following the information and was shocked to find that cash Rs 50000 and silver utensils along with silver coins worth Rs 50000 were missing. She immediately reached the Habibganj police station and filed a complaint.

The Habibgan police on the complaint of the woman registered a case under sections 454 and 380 of the IPC and started investigations.
