‘Tantrik’ dupes five persons of Rs 51,000

Dhar : A so-called ‘Tantrik’ of Dhar had duped five persons of Maharashtra and absconded with the money. Moreover, the victims were brutally beaten up by the villagers as they supposed them to be thieves.

As per the received the information, the accused tantrik had called five persons from Maharashtra and deceived them. He asked them to bring Rs 51,000 that he would turn into Rs 10 lakh through his tantrik process. The victims brought the amount and on by-pass road at the dead of the night, the tantrik started his process. He then suddenly shouted and asked them to run, as the victims started to run, the villagers caught them and started beating them. Villagers thought that they were thieves and informed the police. Victims narrated the incident to the police; however, the tantrik fled managed to flee with the amount. Police have registered the case and started the investigation.
