Ratlam : The Coach and three life guards of Kushabhau Thakre Swimming Pool maintained by municipal corporation were booked for culpable homicide not amounting to murder in connection with the death of a minor boy.

Police have registered a case under Section 304A of the IPC against the then swimming coach Raja Rathore, three life guards including Pawan, Deepak and Manish on the basis of a magisterial enquiry.

The enquiry was ordered by district magistrate the after death of a 17-year old boy Raghvendra Paliwal around one and half years back at the swimming pool who was drowned at the time when the above four accused were present. The enquiry found that the accused had not taken suitable measures to save Raghvendra. Raghvendra was a student of Class X and had drowned in the Swimming pool on September 15 in 2013.

2-year-old drowns

A two years old kid died after drowning in a water tank when his parents were working at a construction of the boundary wall of a factory. Police said that the deceased and his elder brother were playing near the water tank when 2-year old Ankit son of Nanuram, a tribal of Halipara (Bajna). Ankit lost balance and suddenly fell in the tank and drowned. He was declared brought dead at district hospital.
