A LOT : A series of sudden inspections of schools, offices and against illegal colonisers conducted by the SDM Veer Singh Chouhan continued here on Friday. Chouhan, along with a team of officers visited village Mandawal, Sherpur, Khurd, Kharwa Kalan and Thamb Guradia here on Friday.

At Mandawal he found that domestic LPG cylinder was being used at a road-side restaurant. He immediately asked the officers to seize the cylinder and register a case against the eatery owner. Subsequently, the officers booked Mukesh, son of Rangnath Prajapat, for using domestic cylinder for commercial purpose.

At Mandawal, a case was also registered against Vikram Singh and Sobhan Singh for selling kerosene mixed petrol. At village Sherpur Khurd and Khawa Kalan, SDM inspected high schools and checked the records of students’ attendance. He also checked the notebooks of some students and asked them questions regarding various subjects.

On Thursday, SDM had carried out surprise inspections of some residential colonies as well. At Pancham Vihar, which was built by Arihant Coloniser, residents complained to the SDM that there is no proper system for basic amenities like drainage and supply of drinking water. SDM immediately instructed the coloniser to provide the facilities of basic amenities without delay or face action.
