Would do social service now
BHOPAL : Sudhir Sharma, an accused in Vyapam scam, has alleged that the special task force (STF) constituted to probe the scam had implicated him in the case with mala fide intentions. Sharma was released from the central jail on bail on Friday after spending around two years behind bars. He was welcomed by his supporters.
Sharma is an accused in three cases related to Vyapam. He was granted bail by high court in all these cases. Sharma said STF had made him an accused only on the basis of recommendations made by him without any evidence of money having changed hands. Sharma said he was not so powerful that people will honour his recommendations.
Sharma said he underwent a lot of mental trauma during his stay in the jail. He said he would now do only social service and work for the families of those jail inmates who are living a pitiable life outside jail and whose relatives, under rush of blood, had committed some offence.
Sharma said he was in politics for ideological reasons had no expectations from anyone. He said he was supported by his well-wishers during the crisis. He said he has full faith in judiciary and the CBI and was confident that he would be proved innocent.
‘Aisee hote hai jail’
Sudhir Sharma said that during his stay in jail, he has written a book titled ‘Aisi Hoti Hai Jail’. The book is about the life of jail inmates. He said he is not writing any book titled ‘Mere Hissey Ka Nark’. He also said that he is not writing any book on his life or on Vyapam.
