BHOPAL : RTI activist Ajay Dubey has written to the Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI), demanding an impartial probe into Vyapam scam and registration of cases against the accused under Prevention of Corruption Act.
Dubey, in his letter to RP Agarwal, Joint Director, CBI, Bhopal, alleged that STF, Chief Sudhir Shahi had not handed over 1200 pending complaints to CBI. He demanded that those complaints should be handed over to CBI for action.
Dubey alleged that the role of then Additional Chief Secretary, Transport, Antony De Sa, then Transport Secretary Manish Shrivastava, then Transport Commissioner and then Finance Secretary Manish Rastogi in irregularities committed in examination for recruitment of Transport Constable-2012 is suspect. He accused that these officers hatched a conspiracy indulged in corruption. Dubey further alleged that Nitin Mahindra, an accused in Vyapam scam, had provided sensitive information to STF but the latter did not take necessary action and protected the influential persons. Dubey demanded CBI to summon the related file and include it in its investigations.
