BHOPAL: ‘Shikhar Khel Alankaran Samaroh’ will be organised on Thursday at TT Nagar Stadium to confer sports awards and lifetime achievement award for the year 2016 on selected players and coaches.
Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan would be the chief guest in the programme. Sports minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia would preside. Badminton coach Pulela Gopichand and badminton player PV Sindhu will be present as special guests.
As many as 14 junior players will be given ‘Eklavya Puraskar’, 10 senior players will be given ‘Vikram Puraskar’ while 2 coaches will be given ‘Vishwamitra Puraskar’.
