BHOPAL : The state capital continued to shiver on Monday as day temperature dropped by over 2° Celsius. The day temperature reeled quite below normal all over the state. Gwalior recorded a night temperature of 4.9° Celsius which was the lowest in the state.
In Bhopal, people remained wrapped in woollens throughout the day as, wind which swept across the entire state, infused more chill. The northern wind pattern has already set in the state so consequently temperature reduced.
Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 22.1° Celsius which was 4° Celsius below normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 10° Celsius which was 1° Celsius below normal. On Sunday, the day temperature was 24.3° Celsius.
Indore recorded a maximum temperature of 23.2° Celsius which was 4° Celsius below normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 9° Celsius which was 2° Celsius below normal.
Gwalior recorded a maximum temperature of 22.5° Celsius which was 2° Celsius below normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 4.9° Celsius which was 3° Celsius below normal.
The fog is likely to hit various districts like Bhind, Morena, Gwalior, Datia, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Panna districts.
As per the meteorological department, cold wind is blowing at the speed of 15 kilometre per hour which shivered the state. Day temperature reduced all over the state and in most of the cases, it reeled quite below normal.
