State BJP initiates ‘ Modi for PM’ campaign

BHOPAL: Bharatiya Janata Party, state unit, on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, launched its ‘ Modi for PM Campaign’ on Thursday, in all its 55 organisational districts. The campaign would conclude on February 11.

Leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj, party’s national vice president Prabhat Jha and state organisational general secretary Arvind Menon inaugurated the campaign in Bhopal while chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan launched the campaign in Khargone and Dhar.

Under the campaign, the party workers and senior leaders, appealed the people for ‘ Ek note aur kamal ko vote’. Sushma Swaraj speaking on the occasion said that the campaign is being launched for the Lok Sabha elections.

The party would reach out to the public and appeal for one note and vote for the BJP. The campaign also involves door to door contact with public.

Prabhat Jha said the campaign is being launched to make Narendra Modi the prime minister. He said it would be ensured that there is participation of common man in the campaign and also to reach out to each person.

Arvind Menon in his address said the party had to accomplish two missions: Mission 29 and Mission 272+. He said under the campaign, the party workers would go to each house and appeal to make Narendra Modi, the prime minister.
