BHOPAL : Bharatiya Janata Party State President and MP Nandkumar Singh Chauhan has said that the countries in the world will recognise the power of India in a better way only when the Centre and the states will work together in federal democracy. Chauhan said this advice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is really unique and relevant.
Modi in a programme titled ‘Netratava Sangam’, said development in the country should not be limited only up to Maharashtra and Gujarat. Similarly, the governments and ruling parties do not have monopoly on growth of society and development of the country. There should be mutual coordination and communication in all political parties. Modi also expressed his gratitude towards all political parties for support in the functioning of the Parliament.
Chauhan said Prime Minister Modi has indicated towards those issues which are a bitter truth in the context of India. If nation and the states have to develop in real sense then mutual support but not conflict is necessary. Chauhan said there are only two parties namely the BJP and the Congress, which have governments in several states. He said support from the opposition and consent are also needed in Democracy. Chauhan said it is an impediment in Indian Democracy that Assembly elections keep on taking place in some states.
