Nagda : Despite the clear cut instructions of the chief minister to buy all kinds of wheat from the farmers at the support price, the societies are not purchasing lusterless wheat from them as the wheat was doused in the recent rains.
The recent case came to fore when Baircha society on Thursday purchased around 11-trollies wheat and refused to buy 16 trolleys just because that wheat is lusterless.
Former MLA Dilip Singh Gurjar informed that the farmers of Baircha complained him about the incident. They said that they took around 27 trolleys wheat to sell at the support price but the society purchased only 11-trolley wheat. Gurjar alleged that the government is tricking the farmers through their dubious behavior. On one hand, they claimed to purchase all kinds of wheat even colorless whereas on the other hand the societies are not even checking the colorless wheat. He said that farmers are already depressed due to their loss and now even the government is not supporting them.
