Shutdown of mines affecting thousands of local people

Meghnagar : The months long closing off the Jhabua Rock Phosphate Mine on the order of DGMS Surat, which is also the utmost employment providing entity in the area, is affecting the labours, mining employees, officers, transporters and indirectly hundreds of traders.

The Mine holds a strange history. The physically MP situated Mine is in Udaypure Zone ( Rajasthan) and is under Surat ( Gujrat) jurisdiction and its maintenance is done directly from Surat.

For five years the Mine had been working well under Mansukhlal Patel but after the posting of the second category Engineer Ashuthosh Temle, the Mine was shut off which is beyond understanding.

The contractor of the Mine did not keep proper record of the mining and did not maintain the targeted subtraction which resulted into less production and way too less supply of the row material in the form of Rock Phosphate.

There must be some hidden aspect of the shutting off the Mine by Surat DGMM and if the issue is investigated by CBI some astonishing outcomes may come out.
