Bhopal(Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Shri Ram Museum, based on an episode between Lord Shri Ram and Manas, will be built on the premises of Tulsi Manas Pratishthan, Bhopal. The museum should be developed in such a way that tourists visiting Bhopal must also visit it, he added.
Chouhan was presiding over a meeting of the managing committee of the establishment. Chouhan who is president of the establishment said that visiting the museum would make it easier for students to imbibe the teachings of Shri Ram. Necessary financial support will also be provided to the establishment to set up the museum, he said.

President of the Pratishthan Shri Raghunandan Sharma said that efforts are being made for the promotion of Tulsi Manas in the educational centres and deprived sections of the society. A competition is being conducted in collaboration with the Department of School Education and Culture, to assess the knowledge level of students. Teaching of Sunderkaand in Hindi has been started in the first year classes of graduation level in colleges of the state. The process of including chapters related to Ramcharit Manas and Ayodhya episodes in the syllabus is also in progress.
Workshops are being organised by the establishment with the help of education officers at the divisional level. The process of granting approval by the Government of India (GoI) for the establishment of Shri Ram Museum in Tulsi Manas Pratishthan is underway. For this cooperation is expected from the state government, Sharma added.
