BHOPAL: Ex-Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Congress have come face-to-face on the issue of Congress-led state government’s promise after waiving farm loans. Chouhan during Lok Sabha campaigning had said that Congress claim of fulfilling 83 promises was false.
He said that if the Congress had fulfilled its promises, he would take sanyaas from politics. Congressmen reached Chouhan’s place on Saturday carrying a list of promises which were fulfilled by the government. Chouhan was speaking to BJP workers on audio-bridge then.
