BHOPAL: The transferred SP and collector are directing the Ater election from their bungalows. The complaint has been made by the Congress to Election Commission, on Thursday.

Congress spokesperson JP Dhanopia said earlier the party had complained against some of the officers including the SP and collector that they were working in favour of the BJP and trying to affect the Ater bypolls. The ECI has removed several officers including collector Illiya Raja T and SP Anil Kumar Singh from Bhind district.

But till date the officers are camping in the district and working in favour of the BJP. Even the newly posted SP Sushant Kumar Saxena and collector V Kiran Gopal are taking notes from the transferred officers and working accordingly, the Congress alleged. The ECI has been urged to send back the officers from the district with immediate effect and to take strict action against the accused officers and workers who are trying to affect the elections.
