BHOPAL : Town Inspectors of seven police stations of the city were reshuffled on Thursday by SSP Dr Raman Singh Sikarwar.
SSP Sikarwar talking to Free Press said that the decision was taken after prokonged discussion with SPs North and South. It was felt that more mature officers were needed for North region. TIs have been posted in different Police stations keeping in view the type of crimes that take place in the specific areas. Some of the TIs were changed on the advice of SPs as their performance did not match their expectations.
The post of TIs in Ratibad and Piplani police stations were lying vacant as the Ratibad TI Hemant Shrivastava was relieved after being transferred to GRP while TI Piplani Rupesh Dubey took transfer due to some personal family reasons. Some of the TIs had completed more than two years at the same police stations. TI MP Nagar Brijesh Kumar Bhargava had completed two years so he was transferred to Teela Jamalpura police station.
TI Pankaj Dwivedi was shifted from Shahjehanabad to Khajoori Sadak police station, Purnendra Singh from Teela Jamalpura to Ratibad, Manoj Patwa from Khajoori Sadak to Chunabhatti, Rajkumar Saraf from Chunabhatti to MP Nagar, Manish Mishra from Crime Branch to Piplani and Salil Sharma from Control Room to Shahjehanabad.
TI Salil Sharma, who was line-attached, from Bag Sewania for committing negligence in Women Helpline related issue and was now given the charge of Shahjehanabad.
