BHOPAL : The election of the Madhya Pradesh State Council of Bharat Scouts and Guides has been postponed. The elections were to be held on January 23.
Election observer KP Mishra, the national vice-President of Bharat Scouts and Guides, had found irregularities in the election process, following which Chief National Commissioner, Bharat Scout and Guide, New Delhi had held the process invalid and put on hold meeting of the Council till further orders. The term of the present council has been extended by six months. Rajkumar Kaushik, Deputy Director, Scouts (Project) has been appointed as Election Officer.
