BHOPAL : Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia on Thursday met the medal winning players of Shooting Academy at TT Stadium. These players had excelled in the 59th Junior and Senior Shotgun and Pistol Shooting Championship held at Jaipur and Delhi.
Scindia had a one-to-one interaction with each player of the Academy and discussed on their achievement. She said she is proud of the players for excelling in the competition.
Satyavati Saket and Sakshi Saroj won gold medal in civilian .22 sports pistol junior team event. Chinki Yadav, Oshin Tawani and Sakshi Saroj won silver medal in 25-metre sports pistol junior category. Chinki Yadav, Oshin Tawani and Surabhi Pathak won bronze medal in 25 metres sports pistol women senior category. Chinki Yadav won silver medal in individual event.
Araib Parvez won silver medal in 50-metre three position junior men’s event and bronze medal in 10-metre air rifle team event. Navdeep Singh Rathore won a bronze medal in team event. Ananya Bhatt won bronze medal in 10-metre youth team event. Faisal Khan bagged bronze medal in 10-metre air rifle and 50-metre .22 rifle event. These players are undergoing training under the supervision of assistant coach Sunita Sankath.
