Khandwa : Flavored milk would be served from July 1 to all the students of school and Anganwadi on every Monday Wednesday and Friday of the week, two hours prior to meal. A new menu is introduced under the mid day meal scheme under which students of primary classes would be given 100 ml milk and secondary class students would get 150 ml milk three days a week. The contract of supplying the milk has been given to the Indore Cooperative Milk Federation Limited, Khandwa. The manager of the milk federation informed that five different kinds of flavored milk including cardamom, chocolate, pineapple, strawberry and rose would be given to the students so that they won’t get bored. The manager also presented the process of preparing milk to the in-charge collector Amit Tomar. On the occasion, upper collector SS Baghel and SDM Rajni Singh and several other officials were present.
