Mhow : Primary and Secondary School are being run by the government in tribal populated village Medal of Simroal Tappe but due to the lack of maintenance the school building is in dilapidated condition, which could prove to be a fatal threat for the students.
Around 25 kilometers far from the Tahsil Head office, the tribal village Medal’s Government School building has reached to a lethal state. There is water leakage in all the rooms and roof and walls are weak which could prove an open invitation to a big accident.
The villagers informed that the government constructed some more rooms under the Education to All Scheme but that new construction has been occupied by some people. A complaint regarding the matter has been registered at BRC and other officers but so far no action has been taken.
There is no drinking water facility for the students here. The children have to bring water from a hand pump in front of the school. The fund, released for sanitation and water platform, under ‘Samagra Swachtha Abhiyaan’ clean every where movement, where has been spent is matter of curiosity.
No action has been taken on the issue of continuous absent of the Principal and teachers. SDM Vijay Agrawal stated that the school building is dangerous so a proposal for new building will be drafted soon.
