BHOPAL :  An accountant of Bonnie Foi School, Ayodhya Nagar attempted suicide on Monday night by consuming sedatives. The police have found a suicide note in which he has blamed the principal and chairman of the school committee for driving him to suicide.

According to the police, 35-year-old Narendra alias Naveen son of Khemchand Sharma lives at Bhavani Town, Narela Shankari. In his suicide note he said, “The chairman and principal have my life hell and no one is ready to believe me. After my death, people will realise that I was innocent. The chairman is laundering money in the name of running the school. The records and accounts of the school society should be examined by the police after my death”.

He told the cops that last year the management held him responsible for the Rs 1.69 lakh that were found missing during the audit of the accounts. They pressurised him to deposit the amount. After a few days, he handed over Rs 1.58 lakh to the principal but she didn’t give any receipt. After a few days, she denied having received any money from him. Now again they are blaming that Rs 2.50 lakh were missing and that he was responsible for it. SI RP Agnihotri said that the victim has been admitted to a hospital in a critical condition. Police are investigating the charges against the Principal and Chairman.
