SBI Intouch branch opens in MP Nagar

BHOPAL :  An SBI ‘Intouch’ branch was inaugurated on Thursday in MP Nagar by Ajay Michyari, Regional Director, RBI in the presence of KT Ajit, CGM of the Bhopal Circle of the Bank.

“State Bank of India recognises the changing trends in customer behavior due to increasing digital literacy and need for a differentiated customer experience for individual target segments. The Bank has decided to focus on Generation Y customer segment through the Digital Banking programme. Branch banking and digital channels will need to evolve for ‘Customer 3.0’ to service its hyper connected, well informed, value driven and instant gratification driven consumers” Ajit said on the occasion.

The branch will have a whole new range of touch devices, enabling instant account opening with an instant debit card, Smart ATM and high-definition video for interaction with remote experts. The usual digital services like cash deposit machine, Electronic Cheque Drop Kiosk and self-service pass book printing machine will also be available 24 X 7 in the branch.
