Condition of one of the two students, who were critically injured in horrific school van-bus collision on Thursday, deteriorated and he has put on ventilator at Rewa Medical College. Muskan Dwivedi continues to be in ICU. SP Satna Santosh Gaur said, Amit Pandey, son of Santosh Pandey was put on ventilator support as his condition deteriorated on Friday. Amit and Muskan, daughter of Ramsunder Dwivedi, were referred to Rewa Medical College soon after the accident.
Two other injured students Silpi Kushwah and Khushboo are undergoing treatment in Satna district hospital and they are showing sign of improvement, said the officer. Other injured were discharged from the hospital, the officer informed. Six school children and a driver were killed while 11 others were injured when a bus collided with a school van at Birsinghpur in Satna district on Thursday. The deceased children were students of Lucky Convent School in Birsinghpur, about 40-km from the district headquarters. Mahak, Purvi and Abhay, all children of Dwivedi family were killed in the road accident. Five children were among those injured.
