Panna : One of the most backward regions of Bundelkhand, Panna would witness laying of railway lines from Panna to Satna as part of Lalitpur-Singrauli rail line project. Survey work is going on in the region, and if every thing goes according to the plan, then the work may start in May itself.
The officers of Western Central Railway are busy making efforts to get this work done on a priority basis.
Engineer Mahendra Singh, who has specially been deputed in the region said that work is going on in the region, and land acquisition for the project would most probably start by May 15 to May 20.
Talking about the time taken to start the work, the engineer said that many things would depend on the support they get from the local villagers for laying of the railway line.
