Garoth : The district police have arrested the Sarpanch’s husband with 450 grams of brown sugar and after further investigations; they have also seized a cache of arms from his house. They have registered the case against him under respective sections of NDPS act.
As per the information, the police have been carrying out an intense intoxicant substance seizing drive wherein under the direction of district police superintendent Manohar Verma and SDOP Pratima Patel, police team accomplished this arrest. Acted promptly on a tip off that a white color bolero car was carrying brown sugar, police blockaded the road and seized the car.
The accused identified as Fakruddin alias Mangu, is the husband of Khajurigarh’s Sarpanch. Police later searched his house and found seven swords and other edged weapons. Police informed that they are interrogating him.
