Sanjiv Saxena sent to PR till May 30

BHOPAL: Congress leader Sanjiv Saxena has been sent to police remand till May 30 in connection with sub-inspector recruitment fraud. Earlier, his 5-day long police remand expired on Monday in constable recruitment fraud. He is also on judicial remand in Milk Federation recruitment fraud.

Special Task Force (STF) produced Saxena in the court of in-charge CJM PK Barkade who sent him on police remand till May 30.Opposing the remand, defense counsel Rajnish Bariya said, “STF already had taken Saxena on police remand in two cases. Total police remand is now of 13 days.

It has the right to do so, but it is unnecessarily demanding police remand in SI recruitment fraud when it has already made exhaustive and detailed interrogation. Police remand should be demanded on the basis of some concrete facts which STF does not have.”

DSP Indradesh Tiwari said, “We had demanded police remand till June 3 but the court has given us police remand till May 30 in the SI recruitment fraud.”
