BHOPAL: After Jan Abhiyan Parishad vice-chairman Dr Ajay Shankar Mehta another key Vyapam accused, Congress leader Sanjiv Saxena was granted bail on Friday in two cases–constables and sub-inspectorss’ recruitment frauds by the High Court. But  Saxena will have to stay in jail as he is also in judicial custody in Milk Federation recruitment fraud. He had surrendered in CJM court on May 12, 2014. A bench headed by Chief Justice Ajay Manikrao Khanwalikar granted bail to Saxena.

Saxena has claimed that he was on good terms with Vyapam system analysts Nitin Mahindra and mining baron Sudhir Sharma but was not involved in any fraud.

  Nitin Mahindra and Sudhir Sharma are already in jail in Vyapam fraud.

Special Task Force (STF) had booked Saxena for his alleged involvement in Milk Federation recruitment, contractual teachers’ appointment, sub-inspector recruitment and police constables’ recruitment frauds. He is yet to be arrested in the case pertaining to teachers’ scam.

Advocate Rajnish Barraiya confirmed that the High Court had granted bail to Sanjiv Saxena in two cases– constable and sub-inspectors recruitment frauds.
