BHOPAL : A constable of Special Armed Forces (SAF) posted at 7th battalion whose father is posted in the security at bungalow of former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, was robbed of his wallet and attacked with sharp-edged weapon by three armed miscreants near Dussehra ground under TT Nagar police station area late on Monday night.
Following the information, CSP TT Nagar RD Bhardwaj, TI Manishraj Bhadauriya along with other police personnel reached the spot.
Police said that the victim Feroz Khan (32), son of Saleem Khan, a resident of North TT Nagar was attacked with sharp-edged weapons by three bike-borne unidentified miscreants on Monday.
In the aftermath of incident, the injured victim was rushed to a Katju hospital and later referred to Hamidia hospital while late in the night the victim was referred to Chirayu hospital and is undergoing treatment where his condition was reported stable.
In the complaint the victim has claimed that the when he was on his way back to home rising bike bearing registration number MP 04 BM 9065.
While he stopped to answer a phone call near Chandrashekhar hospital at Dussehra ground and while he was busy in talking over the phone, a youth approached him asking time and within no time second youth attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon and stabbed him thrice in back and thigh and third youth waiting for the victim to be injured snatched wallet from victim’s pocket and after taking out key from his bike all of them fled the spot.
