SONKUTCH : Unidentified miscreants stole a bag containing Rs 1.70 lakhs from the dickey of a scooter on Tuesday morning from the premises of School of Excellence.
The bag belonged to Laxminagar, Saver resident Mukesh Joshi who is posted as clerk at Janpad office Sonkutch. The incident took place when Mukesh was attending a programme at the school. Informing about the same, he complained that he withdrawn cash Rs 1.83 lakh from the central bank, out of which he kept Rs 13,000 in his pocket and remaining amount was kept in the dickey of his scooter. He said that his passbook and other important documents were also there in the bag. Police have registered the case against the unidentified miscreants and started an investigation.
