BHOPAL : In the ongoing Ankur League Tournament, organised under the aegis of Ankur Cricket Academy, a match between Dr Shafquat Mohd. Khan XI and Ankur Cricket Academy was played on Friday. Deadly bowling spells of Yuvraj Nema and Rishabh Sharma were the highlights of the day.
Dr Shafquat Mohd. Khan XI won the toss and elected to bat first. The team was able to make 129 runs as its score in the stipulated overs as their batsmen failed to sustain the lethal bowling attack of Rishabh Sharma and Yuvraj Nema. Mayank Patel with 36 runs was the leading scorer. Rishabh and Yuvraj, each took five wickets. At the end of the first day of the match, Ankur Cricket Academy’s score was 93 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. Ashish Markam was playing at 27 and Yuvraj was on 1. Nikhil Nigote made 39 and Shivansh Sharma scored 17 runs. Arnav Tripathi took 2 wickets.
