Residences of Saxena, Bharat Mishra searched

BHOPAL: The STF sleuths conducted search at Congress leader Sanjeev Saxena’s residence and office and absconding accused Bharat Mishra’s house on Thursday. Saxena, who is on police remand till May 17 in recruitment fraud, was brought to his office located at Sanjay Complex of Mata Mandir Square and his residence in Chuna Bhatti locality. The STF said it got vital clues from both the places regarding the fraud.

Saxena who remained absconder for three months, has been denying his involvement in the affair. The STF said he had provided candidates to Nitin Mahindra in milk federation recruitment test. Another team conducted search at the residence of Bharat Mishra, brother of IG Sonali Mishra who is carrying cash award of Rs 10,000 on his arrest.

Constable arrested

The STF said, Omshankar Soni, resident of Soni Mohalla, Ater, Bhind, was arrested in police constable recruitment fraud case. He got selected through Dr Ajay Shankar Mehta. He was posted in Gwalior police force after selection. Another accused Govind Chauhan, resident of Rajendra Nagar, Nanakhera, who was arrested earlier, had too got selection through Dr Mehta.
