Ratlam :vThe main program of the Republic day was held at the Nehru stadium where district Collector Dr Sanjay Goyal hoisted the national flag. He read out the message of the Chief Minister and saluted the march past. Freedom fighters were also felicitated in the program. In the cultural program, number of schools presented their talents. Shri Gujrati Samaj English Medium School while participating for the first time in the Republic day program bagged first prize. Head Mistress Ms Bhumica Christy said that the performance was focused on the importance of Girl Child education, save girl child and anti dowry. The cultural program presented by the Shri Gujrati Samaj English Medium School involved participation of 150 students which was a blend of act, dance and formation. Morning Star School students bagged second prize and third prize went to Adivasi Vikas Vibhag. District Collector Dr.Goyal distributed prizes to the students. For the march past, the first prize went to Senior division NCC unit of school of excellence in the group B, while in Group A Platoon commander home guard Jawant Singh bagged first prize. Ashish Dashottar and Dr Purnima Sharma conducted the program. Meanwhile, the main program of Ratlam rail division on eve of Republic day was organized at the Railway Sports Ground here, where Divisional Rail Manager Ms Lalita Venkatraman hoisted the national flag and took salute of march past by the RPF and scout and guide. The message of the General Manager Western Railway was also read out on this occasion.
Nagda: Flag hoisting, followed by numerous cultural events took place on the occasion of 66th Republic Day. Many educational institutes celebrated the republic day with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm. A Prabhat Ferry was also conducted on this occasion. Under the efforts of the Nagar Congress Committee, former MLA Dilipsingh Gurjar hoisted the flag at the Azad Chauk. The members of BJP hoisted the flag at the Pt Dindayal Chauk. Similarly, flag was hoisted on the ground of Aditya Birla Higher Secondary School, by the Unit Chief of Grasim Industries, Siddharth Banerjee.
Sendhwa: Republic day was celebrated in the region by hoisting flags at the prominent places. Flag hoisting took place at the Upaj Mandi at 7.30 in the morning. Flag hoisting also took place at the BKP office wherein BJP district president S Veera Swami and BJP Mandal President Rammu Kaka hoisted the flag. The municipality president Arun Chaudhry then read out Chief Minister’s message to all the students who had showed up for the event. The event was followed by numerous cultural events that were present by students of Modal High School, Government Girls School and other school students. A parade was also conducted on this occasion.
Haat Piplia: The 66th Republic Day was celebrated in the town with joy and enthusiasm. Students from various schools conducted a Prabhat Ferry which eventually reached the Gandhi Chauk. An event was organized at the Gandhi Chauk wherein prominent BJP leader Santosh Soni was present as the Chief Guest. In his presence, the flag was hoisted.
Alirajpur: The students of Talent Public School Baharpura and students of New Talent Public School Alirajpur celebrated the 66th Republic Day together. The students performed dance and sang patriotic songs. On this occasion, the staff, students and parents were present.
Khandwa: Collector Mahesh Agrawal hoisted the flag at the stadium. He also inspected the parade along with the SP.
Mandsaur: A district level event was organized on the occasion of 66th republic day of India at the Rajiv Gandhi College. On this occasion, the chief guest of the event, Collector Sanjeev Singh hoisted the flag. Parade and march-pasts were also performed at the celebration.
Khargone: The event organized at the DRP line on the occasion of 66th republic day was attended by collector Neeraj Dubey. The collector saluted the Parade and read out Chief Minister’s message at the event. The cultural events were also organized wherein the students gave social messages through their tableaus.
Khachrod: On the occasion of the republic day, the private and government departments hoisted the flag and distributed sweets. As per the regular norm, president of Press Club Lalit Soni hoisted the flag, in the presence of Jagdishchandra Prajapati. Flags were also hoisted in the schools including Priyanka Memorial Public, Rajshree Vidya Mandir and Morning Star School.
Khategaon: On the occasion of 66th Republic Day, the flag hoisting ceremony was organised at various government institutions. The students especially celebrated the day with patriotic fervor. At the civil court, flag hoisting ceremony was done by additional district and session judge KP Markam along with SDOP Manoj Pathak and other advocates.
Thandla: The 66th republic day was celebrated with fervor in the city. The students of Jawahar Navodaya school, Thandla gave mesmerizing cultural performances. On the occasion, vice president of municipal council Thandla, Sangeeta Soni, was present as the chief guest and addressed the students. She then dedicated the gym hall to the public.
Garoth: The republic day was celebrated with fervor in the city amid grand celebrations at the schools. The schools were decorated with flags and students took out rallies. Flag hoisting ceremony was also organised at various places.
