Remove discrepancies in farm loan waiver: Shivraj Singh Chouhan to Kamal Nath

Bhopal: Ex-CM Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Wednesday and discussed several issues with him. Issues taken up by Chouhan included compensation crops damaged due to frost and hailstorm. It was Chouhan’s first formal meeting with Nath after his stepping down from the post of Chief Minister.

After meeting with CM, said he had also asked Nath to remove discrepancies in farm loan waiver. Chouhan said loan applications of green and pink were confusing farmers. Chouhan said, he spoke to Nath about the government stopping all developmental works in Budhni after his stepping down from power. Discussion on law and order also took place.

Chouhan said there were no dacoits during his tenure in the state but it was clear from the Chitrakoot incident that dacoits were raising their heads again. Chouhan said he also spoke to Nath about the project of installing of statue of Aadi Shankaracharya at Omkareshwar. He said that Nath has assured him that all matters will be considered seriously.
