BHOPAL : The lowest temperature in the state at 7° Celsius was recorded in Raisen and Rewa on Sunday. The mercury continued to plummet in the state on Sunday. There was a drop of 3°Celsius in the state capital within last two days. However, the day temperature was three degree Celsius above normal.

Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 30.1° Celsius which was three degree Celsius above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 10.8° Celsius which was 1° Celsius below normal. On Saturday the temperature during the night was 11.6° Celsius while on Friday, it was 13.8 degree Celsius.

Besides, the maximum temperature remained above normal all over the state while the minimum temperature was either normal or below normal in the state. Wind has turned northern and it infused chill in the state. The condition is likely to prevail for the next couple of days.

Indore recorded a maximum temperature of 31.1° Celsius which was 4° Celsius above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 11.6° Celsius which was normal.

As per the meteorological department, temperature is likely to remain around 10° Celsius for the next couple of days in the state capital.
