Rahul to gear up Congress for success in LS elections

Will discuss party’s manifesto with women wing, talk to assembly poll winners and losers

BHOPAL: All India Congress Committee ( AICC) vice- president Rahul Gandhi will have four interactive meetings with party men on Monday. First interaction he will have with Mahila Congress members at Minto Hall. Gandhi will seek the opinion of Mahila Congress members on party manifesto for Lok Sabha elections 2014. He will drive straight to the Minto Hall from Airport to address Mahila Congress programme which will be held at 10.00am. The interaction programme will have three sessions.

The first session will be focused on the social issues while the second will be for economic issues and third and final session will be for political issues.

Nearly 250 Mahila Congress members will have direct interaction with Gandhi. Prominent among those who have been invited include Santosh adav, Sharda Sade, Mamta Sharma, Fazia Mirza, Dr Devangi Dalal, Varsha Gayakward, Laxminaraian Tripathi, Charulata, Kunikalal, Anee Nirmla, Begum Hasina, Anjali Dave and others.

At PCC office, Gandhi will have three direct interactions with party members regarding coming Lok Sabha elections.Nearly 1200 Congress men are expected to attend the programme.

Gandhi will have interaction with MLAs and those party candidates who lost the assembly elections and chalk out the future course of action for Lok Sabha elections. Congress Block heads will also have meeting with Rahul Gandhi.

Prominent leaders like state- in- charge Mohan Prakash, AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh, PCC chief Arun adav, leader of opposition Satyadev Katare, Kantilal Bhuria, Ajay Singh, Mahila Congress national president Sobha Oza, Mahila Congress state chief Archna Jaiswal, acting president Mandavi Chauhan, Abha Singh, spokesperson Karuna Sharma and others will be present in the interaction programme.

On Sunday, a SPG team visited PCC office on the security point of view.PCC chief Arun adav, leader of opposition Satyadev Katare, National Mahila Congress president Shobha Oza were also present there. adav took stock of the preparations.Security beefed up on the Minto Hall premises in the wake of Rahul Gandhi’s visit scheduled on Monday.
