UMARIA: A public welfare cum Jan-Chaupal programme was organised at Narwar-25 under Karkeli Janpad Panchayat in the district on Sunday. As many as 300 villagers participated in the Jan-Chaupal programme who were given information about various schemes. As many as 168 beneficiaries got benefit of various schemes of different departments on the occasion.
One case of Prime Minister Road Yojana, two of woman and child development, one of education department, seven cases of revenue department, 23 cases of Janpad Panchayat, 10 of health department, one of caste certificate, 12 of Indira Awas, 13 of Kapil Dhara Koop, 13 of land reform and several other cases were solved in the Chaupal programme.
Shahdol division commissioner DP Ahirwar, collector Surendra Upadhyaya, SDO(revenue) ML Arya, Janpad Panchayat CEO Hemant Chouhan, RES executive engineer LP Mishra, CMHO Dr MP Tiwari, Zila Panchayat APO CM Sharma and all the field employees and officials were present in Jan Chaupal.
Commissioner DP Ahirwar said that common people should be provided benefit of various schemes conducted by state government. He directed the officials to complete the work in time limit and no case should be left pending.
He also directed the field employees to tour in the field and they should not wait for Jan Chaupal so that the beneficiaries could get benefit of various schemes.
