Hoshangabad : A meeting of Public Participation Committee (PPC) was organised at local Government College here on Friday. District Collector Sanket Bhondwe presided over the meeting. State Assembly Speaker Dr Sitaraman Sharma specially present in the meeting.

Various decisions like to provide government recognition to bachelor syllabus in Commerce stream, fitting of payables tiles in college campus, construction of a room above the gymnasium hall of the college, repairing work at ceiling of the main building of the college, construction of boundary wall for safety of college gardens. Issuing tenders for college canteen and mess and other decisions were taken in the interests of the college during meeting.

College principal and secretary of Public Participation Committee Dr Kamini Jain, in-charge of PPC Dr Shrikant Dubey, senior professor Dr VK Shrivastav informed about the decisions to be discussed in the meeting. During the meeting, Municipal Council president Akhilesh Khandelwal, PIU and PWD Executive Engineer SDOs and other senior government officials were also present.
