Jagannath Prasad Agarwal, a resident of Agra is the grandfather and legal guardian of a minor girl named Apurva. The grandfather of Apurva had told the Commission that she has been living with him for the past 15 years after the death of her mother. As he is a retired and old person, he is not in a position to bear the expenses of Apurva’s higher education.
Kishore Kumar Agarwal, on the order of Family Court, used to give Rs 3000 to Apurva but he had stopped giving it when Apurva turned major.
