BHOPAL : The directorate of medical education has asked the in-charge deans of seven proposed government colleges to submit their recruitment requirements on Friday.
The state cabinet has already declared to establish seven new medical colleges in the state.
Director of medical education Dr GS Patel informed that chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has instructed to submit the recruitment proposal as early as possible. The instructions have been forwarded to the in-charge deans to prepare the proposal and also to submit it by Friday.
The cabinet has already declared to establish seven medical colleges at Khandwa, Vidisha, Datia, Ratlam, Shivpuri, Sahdol and Chindwara.
The recruitment proposal for posts from dean to peon would be passed in the next cabinet meeting. DR Patel added that the swift preparations are being made to set up the proposed colleges and it is possible that two or three colleges would start from the next academic session of 2016-17.
He also added that the CM has already proposed to increase the age limit of the retirement and recruitment for the doctors, especially in medical colleges.
He also added that the new pay commission will also increase the salary in the government sector. He claimed that sometimes the doctors move to the private colleges because of better salaries, but now with the implementation of new pay scale the government will pay more than any other private college.
Not only this some of the subjects in which the professors are not coming, they will be filled on contract basis.
