Khargone : To take stern action to stop the monopoly of the private schools, collector Neeraj Dubey has clearly warned the directors and principals of the schools that if any case of irregularity was found against them then their affiliation could be cancelled. He also instructed the school directors to make efforts to stop ragging in their schools and special attention should be given to the newly joined students.
He further informed them about the rules and regulations of the central government while conducting the meeting of private school principals and directors. He directed that there should be separate washrooms for girls and their safety should be the priority in every school.
Giving directions on the caste certificate, he said that every school must cooperate with the government team to make the caste certificates of the school students and no student should be deprived of their rights. He strictly warned that if any irregularity was found in the school then affiliation of that school could be cancelled.
Police superintendent Amit Singh talked about the directions issued by the high court for school buses. He said that if any school bus was involved in the accident or rash driving, then along with the driver, action would also be taken against the director. He further said that school bus must be of yellow color with all the facilities including first aid box, fire extinguisher, emergency window etc. He also said that every school bus must have its school name written on it, along with the telephone number and address. There must be enough space provided to keep school bags inside the vehicle and the bags should not be hung outside the vehicle or placed on roof carriers. There must be an attendant in every such vehicle to ensure safe travel of the children and render adequate assistance for safe embarking and dis-embarking of the children.
