BHOPAL: More than a dozen police stations in the city may get new TIs after Ijtima. The police stations in which the posts of TI were lying vacant for the past some time and the stations from where TIs were promoted and made DSP in the recently released list by the Police Head Quarters would get new inspectors. Apart from these, TIs of some police stations might be transferred to other stations while some may be sent to Line following bad performance. TIs of five police stations have been promoted due to which posts were lying vacant there. Apart from these the posts of TI at Kolar police station and Shyamla Hills police station have been lying vacant for more than a month. The post of TIs of these police stations was kept vacant strategically keeping in view the upcoming promotion list due to which a major reshuffle was perceived. It is to be noted that recently in a list released by the PHQ 215 TIs, RIs and other Inspectors were promoted as DSPs. Ashoka Garden TI Mohan Sarwan, Jehangirabad TI Ghanshyam Dubey, Berasia TI Rajendra Singh Raghuwanshi and Bairagarh TI GS Chauhan along with Hanumanganj TI Bhupendra Singh were promoted to the rank of DSP in the list released by PHQ.
Soon they would be relieved from their post and would join their new postings due to which their post would be filled by other inspectors. Along with them Kolar and Shyamla Hills police stations where the post of TI was lying vacant would be filled. TI, Traffic, Supriya Chaudhary was promoted to the rank of RI; her post would also be filled.
Earlier the reshuffle was delayed keeping in view Deepawali festival but now after Ijtima the possibility of it was certain.
