BEGUMGANJ: Sultanganj police have recovered two girls who eloped from Khamaria village under Sultanganj police station limits around seven months ago.  The girls were found living with their lovers in Badodara, Gujarat. The cops have arrested the youths and charged them with abduction of the girls. The girls have been handed over to their kin on Thursday.

According to police sources, Babu Singh Adivasi and Narayan Singh Adivasi had lodged complaint at police station around seven months ago that their daughters had gone missing from home at Khamaria village.  They had informed the cops that there was no trace of two youths Ramu Adivasi and Jaikumar Adivasi, both residents of the same village, who might have abducted the girls.

Police received information through informer that both the girls were living with two youths at Badodara, Gujarat. A police team reached Badodara and recovered the girls and arrested the youths. Police have registered case under section 363, 366, 120(B) and 376 of IPC against the youths and arrested them. The youths were produced in court from where they were sent jail.  Police station in-charge CB Singh said that both the recovered girls have been handed over to their kin. The youths were taken under judicial custody and later sent jail.
