SAGAR : The special police team raided the Bina towny and arrested 60 gamblers and also seized Rs. 8 lakh from them, on Monday evening. The superintendent of police had served the notice to the SHO of Bina and the beat in charge for carelessness duties, on Tuesday.
The superintendent of police Sachin Atulkar informed that the special team from Sagar raided the house of Chhotu and Anuraag Sahu the relatives of Guddu Sahu, on Monday evening. The police arrested the 60 gamblers including Rs. 8 lakh and 26,290, mobiles and vehicles are still in process of seizing.
He informed that the police was getting information that the accused Gudu Sahu is involve in the gambling racket, people from various places are reaching to Bina for gambling. The police had served the notices to the SHO Anil Gupta including the beat incharge of the Bina police station. The police had registered the case against the gamblers had been sent to jail.
