BHOPAL : Songs and Ghazals were presented by two city-based poets at meeting hall of Swaraj Bhawan under a series programme ‘Nirantar Rachnapath’ on Wednesday. It was organised by Sahitya Akademi, Madhya Pradesh Sanskriti Parishad, Bhopal.
The programme commenced with the performance of poet Madhu Shukla. She presented some songs and Ghazals which enchanted the audiences. These were ‘Mai Samay Ki Dhar Mein Bahti Achanak Aa Lagi Hun, Ret Si Tat Se Tumhare,’ ‘Door Tak Bharkar Udane Laut Aaye’, and et al.
The programme concluded with the presentation of poet Shiv Kumar Archan. He presented some poems and songs which enthralled the audiences. The programme was presided over by author Mayank Shrivastava.
While commenting on the songs of Madhu Shukla, Shrivastava said, “She is energetic poet and she tried to make an identity of herself by her works. Her songs are not experimental but create simplicity.” He also adds that “Poem is ancient art of human and song is first form of poem.” The programme was conducted by Narendra Deepak and the welcome speech was delivered by In-charge of Sahitya Akademi, Anand Sinha.
