PMT 2012: DSP Rakshpal Yadav surrenders

He had given Rs 20 lakh for admission of his son Ajit Yadav in Jabalpur medical College

BHOPAL: Suspended DSP Rakshpal Singh Yadav surrendered at STF police station on Monday in connection with PMT-2012 fraud. He was absconding since long and a Rs 10,000 reward was declared on him. He had given Rs 20 lakh for admission of his son Ajit Yadav in Jabalpur medical College to middleman Sudhir Rai   He was posted at Gwalior and he was suspended after his name figured in the PMT fraud. Rakshpal Singh had applied for anticipatory bail but district and session court had rejected it though his son was granted anticipatory bail.

According to STF, the suspended DSP Rakshpal Singh Yadav was wanted in PMT-2012 fraud.   STF team had raided various places to trace the DSP. When Rakshpal came to know that STF had made Ajit Yadav an accused, he disappeared from duty and then applied for leave on medical ground.
