BHOPAL: The would-be Prime Minister Narendra Modi is yet to take oath but the state government has started its preparations to seek economic aid from the Centre.  Chief Minister’s secretariat is preparing to seek allocation of aid for different departments in the state. Figures and details are also being taken out to present memorandums to Modi and other Union ministers for economic package.

The state government is also preparing a letter detailing discrimination in allocation of funds by the Centre to the state under various schemes. The draft would be sent to the Centre. The state government is focussing on economic package for the farmers along with allocation of fund for Panchayats and rural development, roads, social justice, cooperatives and urban development.

Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan intends to present the details of discrimination done by the UPA govt to the state.  He wishes to put up the details immediately after oath taking of central cabinet so that economic package could be released soon to the state.
