BHOPAL : A pick pocket attacked an ASI of Hanumanganj police station at around 4 pm on Wednesday.
According to police, ASI Ramdas Gurjar was on duty and was called by a lady for help near Sindhi Colony Bus Stop. When he reached her and asked the reason, she told about a pick pocket in the minibus, who, she said, had snatched her cell phone.
As the ASI tried to catch the accused he suddenly attacked the ASI with a blade and ran away from there. ASI reached Apex hospital. Dr Sanjay of Apex hospital said his injuries were not serious. Police have registered a case against accused and are trying to locate him.
