BHOPAL : P&G India, on Wednesday, celebrated 25 years of successful operation of their plant at Mandideep.
The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility was established in 1991 and produces leading household brands like Tide, Pampers and Whisper. Over the years, the company has invested over Rs. 1400 crores in the State while creating over 2000 local jobs directly or indirectly.
Marking the 25th anniversary, the company pledged Rs. 1 crore towards CSR via flagship programme ‘P&G Shiksha’ in the state for the next three years.
Nitin Binani, Mandideep Plant Head, P&G India said, “This indeed is an important milestone for P&G India. As we are marking our 25th anniversary, it gives me immense pleasure to announce that the company will be pledging Rs. 1 crore towards education for underprivileged children in Madhya Pradesh”.
