Petition against recognition of SAPAKS as a political party by Election Commission of India was rejected by the High Court on Saturday. The petition was filed by founder president of SAPAKS Lalit Shastri. The double bench of Jabalpur High Court comprising of Chief Justice SK Seth and Justice Vishnu Pratap Singh said while rejecting the petition that the election commission had followed all the norms required to register a political party.
The bench also observed that the founder president attached lot of un-required documents claiming that the organisation was a non-political in nature that worked for awareness of government servants. Court also rejected the claim by lawyer of Shastri that the election commission had over ruled the process and did not listen to the objections filed by the petitioner.
SAPAKS president accuses BJP of using muscle, money power
National president of SAPAKS party, Hiralal Trivedi has accused the BJP of using money and muscle power to pressurize candidates from other parties. Trivedi said that in Mehgaon and Balaghat Sapaks candidates were forced to announce their support for the BJP. In Mehgaon union minister Narendra Singh Tomar played the role while in Balaghat CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan forced the Sapaks candidate to declare his support for the BJP candidate.
